Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) has scheduled the first round of public input for the Oregon Coast Trail Action Plan.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
OPRD feels it is important to hear from trail users throughout this process. The goal of this first round of meetings is to share our understanding of trail deficiencies, the vision for closing gaps in the Oregon Coast Trail, and to understand what else is needed to improve the Oregon Coast Trail experience. This comes in advance of beginning to look at route alternatives and design solutions for individual Oregon Coast Trail gaps (places where trail users must walk somewhere that was not designed with people walking in mind). All of the information shared will be available the entire time, so please feel welcome to come at a time that works best for you. For those who can not attend in person, materials will be available online December 14th, and public comment is welcome through January 31st via website or directly with OPRD’s project manager (email@example.com).
NOTE: The same information will be shared at all 3 meetings.
